When stepping from the office into the evening, why not prepare for girls’ night out with a look that’s daring and fresh? Create a sensation and make a smooth shift from work to play by following a few essential tips this holiday season!
The transition can be simple and enjoyable. Start with your make-up. Subtle eye-shadow, both smoky and shimmering, can dramatically contrast red lipstick, creating an intoxicating and subtle allure. Not only is it stunning, it’s what’s trending this winter!
Simply apply a light layer of concealer over your foundation; outline your eyes, and smooth on glittering eye shadow. Shadow that’s applied and blended carefully helps to reveal the natural contour of the eyes. Lightly dust smoky colors over the eyelids. This will help rid the eyes of any dark circles. By not applying mascara to your lower lashes, your make-up will appear just a little more casual. Smooth in softer shades below the eyebrows, slightly lighter than the color of your hair. (Select quality make-up and brushes in order not to damage delicate skin, and don’t be afraid to go a little darker with colors in the evening.)
Add a light iridescent blush, pat a layer of light powder over your entire face, then complete the look with a light moisturizing lip gloss. If you’d prefer, add red lip-liner filled in with a rich winter red lipstick. This dramatic touch will add to the ‘risk’ of the evening so you can enjoy spending time with the girls along with some wild live casino games at intercasino! Dress the part with simmering, smoky eye-shadow and a deep red lipstick. (Remember to only accent the lips or the eyes, never both so as not to appear overly made-up.)
Your hair-style can easily transition from work to evening by following a few simple tips. Short hair can quickly be given a second life. Comb the front of your hair back from your forehead and then hold it in place with a light mist of hairspray and a colorful hairclip or a jeweled head-band.
Long hair, both curly and straight, can be partially dried in the morning, twisted into a pony or bun and then released into sensual waves at night. Or, hair can be re-twisted into a casual up-do for the evening. A velvet ribbon can be tied around your hair to compliment and accent your eye-shadow.
To complete the look, why not wear a basic black dress to work with a professional jacket or sweater? Then, as you step out to meet the girls, switch to a silky blouse or colorful shawl, and add a handbag and dangling earrings. Or just simply leave on the blouse and skirt that you’ve worn to work, spray on some exotic perfume, and add a pair of racy heels (shoes that you wouldn’t dream of wearing to the office). And again, have fun with your jewelry…jaunty and flirtatious…ready to step out into the evening in STYLE!
